Clinical Reactions and Its Adverse Effects After Live Attenuated Measles-Mumps Vaccination and Measles-Mumps-Rubella Vaccination

Abstract
|
|
|
We observed about clinical reactions and its adverse reactions after Measles-Mumps Vaccination in 46 children and Measles-Mumps-Rubella Vaccination in 50 children. Following results were obtained in the duration of 21 days following vaccinations.
1) Fever occurred 6 to 11 days followingg vaccination in 10.8% MuMe vaccinated and 14% MuMeRu vaccinated individuals.
2) Rashes occurred 5 to 12 days following vaccination in 4.3% MuMe vaccinated and 2% MuMeRu vaccinated children. It disappeared 1 or 2 days later without any treatment.
3) Other adverse reactions were irritability, rhinorrhea, coughing, itching sensation, urticaria, focal redness and anorexia but they disappeared without treatment.
